Golden Thread Gallery invites you to join us on Tuesday 11th August from 1130-1230 for our showcase marking the end of our current Arts & Older People project.
‘Then, Now & Could Be’ was a series of free art workshops for older people, supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Arts & Older People programme. Over 20 weeks, we celebrated the history and heritage of our city’s buildings, streets and communities through making art, creating shared memories and stories.
Guided by artists Cony Ortiz and Isabel Duffy, the sessions were a fun, easy and welcoming creative space to meet new people and chat with friends.
In this showcase event, we’ll be exhibiting the wonderful array of artworks our participants have created in the Hub, and celebrating with a singsong and some refreshments. All are welcome!
Accessibility
Workshops take place in our Hub on the ground floor of the gallery, with step-free ramp access. There is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom on the ground floor.
