Discover the wonderful world of birds at the Golden Thread Gallery this summer. We’ll be exploring different species over a collection of six workshops through June-August. 

For Pigeon Appreciation Day on 13^th June, we’ll be making model pigeons out of air-dry clay to take home and learn about this species of messenger bird.

Workshops offer fun creative activities for children aged 4-11, parents and carers. All materials are provided, along with snacks* & drinks.

Our young artists can display their creations in our Junior Gallery or take them home!

Workshops are facilitated by Isabel and volunteers.

Please note: although workshops are free, places must be booked via our Eventbrite page here. We ask parents / carers to please supervise children during the workshops and for parents to book for the number of people attending the workshop including children and adults. Please note this workshop is fully booked and is part of a series, if you can no longer attend, please cancel your space to allow another family to attend on Eventbrite or by emailing info@gtgallery.co.uk.

Workshops take place in our Hub on the ground floor of the gallery, with step-free ramp access. There is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom on the ground floor.
