Are you over 60? Enjoy conversation, a cuppa, and some creativity?
Golden Thread Gallery invites you to take part in ‘Then, Now & Could Be’, a series of free art workshops for older people, supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Arts & Older People programme.
Come along to celebrate the history and heritage of our city’s buildings, streets and communities, and share your own memories and stories.
No art experience is needed! Guided by artist Cony Ortiz and the GTG team, the sessions are a fun, easy and welcoming space to meet new people and chat with friends.
All materials are provided, as well as tea, coffee & biscuits.
Our building is wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible.
Where: Golden Thread Gallery, 23-29 Queen Street, Belfast BT1 6EA (the former Craftworld building)
When: Every Tuesday 11-1 from 24th February 2026
Accessibility
Workshops take place in our Hub on the ground floor of the gallery, with step-free ramp access. There is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom on the ground floor.
