Dates: 25th – 27th June 2026
Gallery: Lower Gallery
Golden Thread Gallery is delighted to be partnering with AWARE NI to present Look at Me Now, a powerful exhibition sharing real-life experiences of people whose lives have been touched by mental ill-health.
Yet through peer support, connection, and resilience… they have all found hope 💛
The exhibition marks a significant milestone for AWARE NI as they celebrate 30 years of supporting mental health and wellbeing across Northern Ireland.
For three decades, they’ve been there for people experiencing depression, anxiety and other mental health-related conditions – providing support, understanding, and generally helping people to feel less alone.
“Reaching 30 years isn’t just a moment to look back on, but an opportunity to recognise the people, whose experiences have shaped who we are today. Please join us as we celebrate 30 stories for 30 years, sharing lived experience testimonies, poetry, and photography.”
Visit the AWARE NI website for more information and resources.
Please note: The exhibition will be closed for a private viewing from 2:30-4:30pm on Thursday 25 June
