Golden Thread Gallery invites you to the launch of an exhibition of new work by Belfast sculptor Stuart Calvin in our Lower Gallery, for Late Night Art April 2025.
Calvin’s sculptural work explores themes of human fragility, and the search for meaning in a world marked by political turmoil, societal collapse, and environmental anxiety. His art delves into the shared experience of feeling helpless in the face of seemingly insurmountable world tragedy and reflects on reclaiming control and personal agency in the face of this chaos.
We hope you will join us for a drink and an introduction to the exhibition by the artist, with our Co-Director Peter Richards.

The Lower Gallery is accessed via the ground floor, which is step-free.
