Launch: Saturday 15th February 2025 1pm -3pm
Gallery: Upper & Lower Galleries
Golden Thread Gallery invites you to the launch of our new exhibition by artists Maria Fusco and Margaret Salmon. This exhibition is based around the artists’ acclaimed 2023 opera-film History of the Present, an intersectional, intergenerational feminist work which forefronts working-class women’s voices to ask: who has the right to speak, and in what way?
We hope you will join us for a drink and an introduction to the exhibition by the artists themselves, with our Co-Directors Peter Richards and Sarah McAvera.
Accessibility
The Lower Gallery is accessed via the ground floor, which is step-free. The Upper Gallery is accessed via lift from the ground floor or via the main staircase.
The gallery spaces will be darkened for this exhibition. The film in the Upper Gallery includes sound and music.
Large print versions of exhibition texts are available.
Please let us know if you have any questions or additional requirements, we are working hard to make the gallery as accessible as possible for everyone.
