Lisa Malone works at Flaxart studios, Belfast, exploring and experimenting with her practice. Malone’s work is a gentle comment on human nature, suggestive rather than literal, and allows a multitude of readings. Using print, sculpture and kinetic elements.
She has been awarded Arts Council of Northern Ireland funding, including the New York Residency in 2009. Most recent exhibitions include Metronome, at the Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast 2010 and We’re All The Same Now a site specific installation at the Crumlin Rd Gaol, 2009.
